Walking through Margaret Market, amid all the delicious aromas, one that made our heads turn is the mushroom soup from Kung Fu Noodles. Of course, there are other soups served up from this new vendor to the Margaret Market, like: chicken, tomato, mala, pickled vegetables & tom yam.
You can choose from the different sets, which include a tray of sliced meat (pork collar, beef, chicken, mutton, or fish), a big bowl of vegetables and mushrooms, la mian; as well as a smorgasbord of condiments, for you to design your very own signature dipping sauce.
You may also choose from a variety of a la carte menu items. A popular choice is the steamed pork dumplings, where the skin is just the right thickness; and the meat stuffing is flavourful; or their Zha Jiang Mian — a cold noodle salad with minced meat (pictured above), which comes with a surprisingly flavourful cabbage side dish.
With the cool air-conditioning of Margaret Market, one can comfortably enjoy Kung Fu’s hot-pots, even at lunch.
